What
else we can do - extra, other and alternative activities
Hen
party life drawing is our speciality but we're very flexible
and
can provide lots of other activities. Sometimes it's to suit a very
mixed group, perhaps the venue needs a different approach or you'd
simply like a change after drawing lots of bottoms! Whatever the need
we'll try to help - and if we can't we'll let you know and won't string
you along, we know our limits. The list below is a starting selection
but if you'd like any tweaks and adjustments or can think of something
better you reckon we could do don't worry about asking, we'd love to
help.
Classy, quiet and refined
- lower key art events for gentler groups
What
if drawing a nude, however tasteful, is inappropriate for your mood,
gathering or venue? No problem, we can provide whatever degree of
artistic figure you require - from child friendly to figleaf. Costume,
themed
and silouhette modelling are possible too. Our models have posed for
school groups, socials, birthdays and know how to behave. Materials can
vary too - from classical charcoal to glitter! If you have an cunning
plan or cool theme we can help!
Naughty(ish) but nice - 50
Shades of charcoal- silly drawing fun
If
you want the creative challenge of life drawing but suspect
your
friends might want something more 'hen party' then this themed
event might appeal. The instruction and opportunities for art stay the
same
while the poses hilariously lower the tone for the amusement
of
your friends who aren't quite as dedicated. As always any class, any theme and any idea can be
tuned for your particular group.
Naughtier but nice - 50
Shades of Fun - saucy fun for more grown up parties
For
those who want a laugh but think the effort of life drawing might
test tired, emotional or art phobic guests we have a new idea
- 50
Shades of Fun! Nothing too tawdry but a very funny, somewhat burlesque
and slightly theatrical distraction. Our wonderfully wicked dominatrix
tutor will introduce you to her tricks and tips - not just in theory
but also in practice. You'll be provided with detailed instruction,
safety equipment and a test subject for you to try out your newly
acquired skills. This class is carefully planned to avoid the
awkwardness of big agency events, we put the emphasis on the
very
light hearted side of the erotic arts :-)
N.B. This
can also be a theme for life drawing, which is sooo funny but not as
hands on for a 'sensible' group! See above.
Significant birthdays... Why feel
like you're getting older when you don't have to act your age?
Some
of our funniest parties have been for golden girls who choose a bit of
art and amusement to confirm that age is just a number even if it has a
zero on the end. Whatever the birthday a milestone doesn't have to be a
millstone, with complimentary waiting!
Divorce parties? Yes, apparently
they're a thing now and can be fun, cathartic and cool, honestly!
If
you want some laughter to move on from difficult times why not try one
of our events? You can be loud but we'll be sensitive and you can theme
the poses creatively.
Waiting patiently -
for dinner parties, coffee mornings or afternoon tea?
A
great talking point, and a nice segue between activities too. Why not
have guests greeted with drinks and snacks before one of your events?
It's lots of fun for fundraising get togethers and he's totally
discreet. We even know some excellent mobile caterers who can deliver
the food without you having to lift a finger. You choose the
waiter's attire of course - bowtie, apron and smile
is
popular, bunny is a close second but you decide. He's also
been
the dessert trolley - which takes a bit of doing but adds a
fun
flourish to the final course! Your waiter can even transform to run
another event, he's always happy to serve during drawing
lessons. There's a fun 'Bare butler
fact sheet'
Great British Take Off - Cakes,
chocolate and cheeks!
Baking
is the current big thing and obviously cakes are great. For a short
event
the actual baking is done for you ready for the fun bit -
decorating. This is a fine setup for a bit of competition in teams or
individually with advice from a nearly naked chef (his attire is your
choice of course). Whether working on cup cakes or chocolates the
results will be delicious and disappear fast!
N.B. Please let us know of any
dietary requirements or preferences for these activities.
A brush with art - body
painting/tattoo
Paper
seems so last century sometimes! Why not decorate your model after some
(optional) practice facepainting each other? You can go freestyle,
select a theme or be given a challenge. The creative process is
hilarious (it's very tickly) and the results won't fail to amuse. This
activity needs an outdoor, washable or protectable (which we can do)
work area plus a shower for the model just in case he decides not to
head
home as an art work. This works brilliantly as a competitive event with
a good theme... one team does one side as their favorite animal, the
other creates a super hero... or whatever ideas you have! Painting your
own themed waiter for evening is a fun way to get to appreciate your
creative genius for longer
A bigger day, better
value!
We
can always combine events, they work brilliantly together to
build a full
(or half) day of fun
and some are even funnier once you've met us in one mode and
we change into another - our poor model takes the brunt of
this as
no
one takes him quite so seriously after they have put him in poses ;-)
Fun for fundraising!
If
you are running a fundraising event we'd love to help. For a good
causes we'll cut our costs and work with you to get the best response
from your audience. We've waited, been auctioned and posed for coffee
mornings.
And a whole lot more!
With
many friendly contacts amongst artists and other suppliers there are
loads of other requests we can help with too - from bead making to
pastels we can find you the right artist!
Locations
Sessions can be held almost anywhere and we can usually arrange a venue for you if you don't have one already. As long
as it's nice and warm and no one else will be upset that's
perfect. We
can easily run sessions throughout Eastern Anglia but we aren't
limited and often, happily travel across the country.
Cost
If you start planning
around £25 per head (per event, discounted as groups get larger)
with a minimum of
£150 then work down if you add extra events and up if you add extras
you'll be on the right track. Separate tutors and travel far
from home may add to the cost
(tutors from £75). If the class needs
materials other than simple art supplies (such as pastel sets
or
chocolate!) that's added at cost. We usually require a
deposit of £100 to secure your event with the balance payable on the
day, or by transfer just before to keep the event simple. The
costs for bespoke and combined events will have to worked out but
will definitely be competitive and very reasonable.
