| This was our second attempt, since last year the same trip was cancelled due to bad weather. This year's wasn't all wine and roses either! Our preceding trip to Wales was blown out but we decided we deserved a break and went to Devon anyway, cue bibical rain! After a couple of days of National trust sight seeing we set out in Clive's boat from Clovelly only to find that the vis around North Devon hadn't recovered... it took us longer to realise that than anyone else but we are from East Anglia so we don't scare easily. It clearly wasn't going to be worthwhile diving the mainland so our last day was a trip to Lundy - where we had much better vis than for our trip in May. Many thanks to Sally for arranging the trip and acting as our minder for a few days of surface tourism too. |
