We're just back from our boat trip round the
Islands of North Sulawesi, an area famous for weird stuff. See what
you can pick out of the picture selection. You should be able to
find... a four eyed lionfish, pygmy seahorse, harlequin ghost
pipefish, yellow frogfish, flying gonad (spelling suspect ever since
Gozo), razorfish and Bangai cardinal fish... easy? We have various
pictures of rare and apparently sought after things which just look
like lumpy mud, so we spared you those!
We are trying to
recuperate from the boat food today and aim to do some gentle local
dives tomorrow. The resort beach is a black sand site with a good
selection of resident bizarre and ugly inhabitants, so I should feel
right at home...
