Business as usual on the Rosalie really, as you'll see all the usual suspects were present. We were disappointed that the flush of nudibranches we expected didn't materialise... must be something in the water!

We're not sure if these Velvet crabs are cuddling ready...	This crab went to the same party... disguised as Hercule...	Sometimes it seems like every crevice has a crab	This one has been hanging around in the bright shallows...	The Edible crabs - Cancer pagarus - aren't so flamboyant
The closer you look the more ascidians you see - this is...	Under the sand this is another colonial ascidian - maybe...	Yet another colonial ascidian... I can't find it in any...	At last an easy to ID colonial ascidian - Morchellium...	These colonies sprout from a short stalk like a small...
Another colonial ascidian - Didemnum Spp.	The little white bits are more ascidians... Clavelina sp....	At last the ascidians are done... the lumpy yellow chap...	Its irregular osculae (holes) identify it as a sponge...	Breadcrumb sponge is very varied... this is probably more...
At least there's no confusing a lobster...	Especially when they come over for a closer look	Don't shoot until you see the points of their rostrum	This small bush in amongst the red algae is a bryozoan -...	There weren't many slugs around... but plenty of these...
The Janolus hunt hydroids, the little flower like heads...	Slugs rely on stored stinging cells for protection......	The Janolus seemed impressively bulbous....	...with clear dark digestive tracts... nice eh?	OK so you've probably had enough of these...
